My beautiful Schoolgirl Sewing Club box arrived today from @crewelgobelin . It’s FABULOUS!! Breakfast of champions…whilst Karen’s away I’m sampling the amazing chocolates we were given by friends @hobbyhouseneedleworks retreat #foxandrabbitdesigns #foxandrabbit #chocolate And…. We’re home😂 Well, all good things must come to an end and we are drawing very close to our long trip home. Today was the final day of the My Life Is A Sampler Hobby House Retreat. It was fabulous right to the very end. And Vickie spoiled us right to the dying seconds. How lucky are we to have started our month long vacation at Summer School at The Attic Needlework and to finish it with this retreat at Hobby House Needleworks. We are so blessed. To make today even better we were able to attend the US National Bonsai Exhibition at Rochester this afternoon. Bren was in bonsai heaven. The trees on display were truly works of art. Tomorrow we start our two day drive back to NYC before our flight home. Well, I know we sound like a cracked record, but it was yet another fabulous day at the My Life Is A Sampler Retreat today. @needleworkpress has done an outstanding job and the projects today from Tanya from @thescarletthouse and Vickie from @needleworkpress were outstanding. The day was full of lots of laughter heard all over the room from friends, both new and old, making wonderful memories. The food was sensational and we are having the most wonderful time. It will be sad to say goodbye tomorrow . Fantastic opening night of the My Life Is A Sampler retreat being hosted by @hobbyhouseneedleworks What a really fun night. Such lovely ladies we are lucky to have as our table mates. Making new friends is one of the best things about retreats☺️
